This project was a development site with three large properties with each house having a full ecosystem, consisting of a solar inverter, battery storage, and EV charger.
The installation was split into 2 phases.
The first phase was to install all the in-roof solar panels on each house and run the required cables to the location where the inverter was to be located. We liaised with the roofing team to ensure that the solar panel array would fit centrally on the roof without compromising the roof tile layout. This was to ensure a balanced, central positioning of the system while maintaining the integrity, weatherproofing, and visual consistency of the existing roof structure. This first phase took the team two days to complete.
The second phase of this project took place a few months later when the houses were nearly finished. We installed a 3.68kW inverter with a 5.1kWh battery in each house, along with an EV charger. The houses had a room built specifically for the solar and battery equipment which also contained smoke detection to meet regulations.
