Solar and battery storage system installation: in-roof solution

This customer was interested in getting a solar system together with battery storage.
At a site visit, our team discussed various options with the customer, and together, the decision was made that mounting the panels as an 'in-roof system' was the best option. Our calculations suggested that the best option would be an inverter sized at 3.68 kW with a 9.5 kWh battery.
This required all the existing roof tiles to be removed so that panel trays could be fitted. The solar cables were run inside the small loft space and down to the garage. Our team installed a new consumer unit to supply the solar equipment.
The project took three days to install, and the customers were happy about how quickly the installation was done and how great the solar panels looked on the roof.
