We conducted an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) on this property and ultimately it was decided to upgrade the old rewireable consumer unit. We installed a new RCBO consumer unit and tidied up the exposed cabling. Not only is this new consumer unit far safer than the original, but it is also easier to reset in the event of a fault.
